Latvijas Balzams is a stock listed company with many brands worldwide. Each of the brands has its own product website. We made the website for the mother company lb.lv.
Our task was to create together with their marketing agency a website that helps the company to communicate important information to wholesalers and investors. A part of the task was to find a solution to display over 100 products in a user-friendly way. Friendly both for visitors and for the employees that update the data.
As technical base we choose WordPress, for which we coded additional custom post types for the products. This solution enables users to easily manage the product data.
To have maximum freedom in design and functionality we coded this website from the ground up our self. The web design is responsive, so that the content is readable on every device. Visitors can use the website with multilingual content, in Latvian and in English.
As stock listed company Latvijas Balzams must be able to publish stock related news. With WordPress as CMS the employees of the finance department can do this anytime themself.
In total the website is now a useful marketing tool to help the company to communicate with wholesale clients and with investors.
