This was the key question at the start of an exciting project: the complete redesign of the website for Viesturi Golf, a picturesque course in the Baltic region. Its fairways wind through a tranquil pine forest, giving the course a distinctive Nordic character.

Website visitors are welcomed by a full-screen, mood-rich hero photo that immediately conveys the natural beauty of the landscape. A key technical feature is our custom-built weather API, which displays not only the current conditions but also a 24-hour forecast - paired with a live status indicator for the golf course, driving range, and restaurant. Especially during the autumn and winter months, players can check at a glance whether the course is open.
Design-wise, the site features a clean layout, bold typography, and carefully curated photography that captures the spirit of the sport and the surroundings. The technical foundation of this website is Grav CMS - a lightweight, flexible flat-file content management system that allows the management team to easily update content and publish news without relying on a database.
