Logo Design and Web Design for WordCamp Riga conference

WordCamps are international conferences for WordPress developers and webdesign experts. Such conferences are organized worldwide under the umbrella of the WordPress foundation. Local events use traditionally a logo which combines the official WordPress logo with local elements.

For the 2017 conference in Riga we used the heraldic coat of arms of the city of Riga as base and inspiration for our design. We used its two serious lions left and right and transformed them into funny hipster lions.

The result is a logo that fits perfectly to the friendly and relaxed character of a WordCamp event.
